# xanosdk local update

> Move this project's pinned engine to the latest release (or `--version <v>`, downgrades included), download it, and restart the project's running engine on it — the restarted engine starts empty, so the next deploy seeds it. Writes package.json: commit it.

xanosdk local update [options]
```
